with in the process. Broken injector connectors, under TB egr pipe flange bolts can be a little challenge to get out and put in and the exhaust VCs use a gasket sealer not a seal -- a bit of work to clean them up and then get the covers reinstalled (due to a tight fit caused by the EGR pipes).
Honesty - if you aren't that experienced this probably isn't a good job to take on. It can be time consuming if as things come apart they also need to be fixed and there can be a fair amount of things to address....
You will need a torque wrench, stubby ratchet or wrenches for the tight spots and a long pair of needle nosed pliers for some of the hose clamps...
